I am an incoming Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Florida State University. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at The Pennsylvania State University.
My research sits at the intersection of labor economics, industrial organization, and international trade, combining structural modeling with empirical analysis to understand how markets allocate resources and shape worker outcomes. My work on India's automotive sector investigates the wage gap between contract and permanent workers, finding that productivity differences—rather than differential market power—drive the premium. In other work, I show that productivity uncertainty generates substantial input misallocation in European manufacturing firms, and that export market entry triggers factor-biased technological upgrading in Colombian firms, with particular gains for unskilled workers.
I am a Special Sworn Status (SSS) researcher, cleared to access restricted US Census Bureau data. I am also a Fellow at the Baffi Centre on Economics, Finance, and Regulation @ Bocconi University.
